TOANO -- Lumber Liquidators Inc. today said third-quarter income was $7.8 million, a 42-percent increase over the same period a year earlier.
The Toano-based hardwood flooring retailer said sales increased 14 percent to $140.5 million in the quarter.
"We remained focused on delivering a unique combination of price, selection, quality and availability, and we are pleased to have returned to comparable store net sales growth during the quarter," said Jeffrey W. Griffiths, the company's president and chief executive officer.
