ENGINEERS

Jeff Morgan has been promoted to president at Hermitage Automation & Controls. He was formerly vice president/sales manager. He will now oversee the distribution of electrical components and engineering services. He earned his engineering degree from Virginia Military Institute and then served in the U.S. Air Force as a B-52 navigator and attained the rank of captain. He has been with the company for 18 years.

Matthew Donald is a project manager in the Glen Allen office of Hankins and Anderson Inc. He was formerly with Stantec Consulting.


Michael Saweikis is a mechanical engineer in the Glen Allen office of Hankins and Anderson Inc. He was formerly with Johnson Controls.


LAW

W. Ashley Burgess has been made counsel in the Business Finance and Real Estate practice group at Sands Anderson Marks & Miller. His practice focuses on representing companies and their executives with issues in contracts, creditors' rights, financing and real estate. He earned his bachelor's degree in public administration with a business minor from James Madison University and his law degree from George Mason University. Jeffrey D. Chadwick has joined the law office of Williams Mullen. His practice will focus on the income taxation of businesses and their owners, including mergers and acquisitions, disputes with taxing authorities, and the tax considerations of debt offerings and debt restructurings. He earned his bachelor's degree from Baylor University and his law degree from the University of Richmond. Anne C. Foster has joined the law office of Williams Mullen. Her practice will focus on assisting health-care providers with general health care and corporate matters. She earned her bachelor's degree and law degree from the University of Virginia. Kiana M. Jamison has joined the law office of Williams Mullen. Her practice will focus on mergers and acquisitions and other corporate transactions. She earned her bachelor's degree from Yale University and her law degree from the University of Virginia. Ryan C. Kenrick has joined the law office of Williams Mullen. His practice will focus on financial services and real estate matters. He earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia and his law degree from the College of William and Mary. Richard L. Savage III has joined the law office of Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott. His practice focuses on administrative law and government relations. He earned his bachelor's degree from Radford University, his master's degree from the College of William and Mary and his law degree from Wake Forest University.


May H. Fox is director of government relations at Eckert Seamans Cherin and Mellott. She earned her bachelor's degree from Sweet Briar College and her master's degree from Boston College.

Erik Mauritsen has been promoted to chief financial officer at Covenant Woods, a continuing-care retirement community. He is a graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University's Business School.

Greg Harding is general manager at General Building Maintenance, a national provider of janitorial services. He will oversee all aspects of running the Richmond office, including operations, customer service and business development. Steve Dahowski is executive director of business development at the Richmond office of Premier Transfer and Storage, an agent for Mayflower Transit. He has more than 20 years of experience in the moving and storage industry, where his main focus has been on commercial, industrial and logistics. Kristina Kallini has been promoted to program director at Leland House by UMFS. She joined the staff in 2006 as a therapeutic counselor and has served as lead therapist and acting program director. She is a graduate of Northern Virginia Community College, George Mason University and Virginia Commonwealth University. Dawne Brooks Gulla has been named chief networking officer for Business Network International, Central Virginia Region.
