Number of workers with inadequate retirement savings increases

NEW YORK -- CNNMoney.com is reporting today that the number of American workers with nearly no retirement savings has gone up for the third straight year.

The Employee Benefit Research Institute's annual Retirement Confidence Survey reports that people who say they have less than $10,000 in savings increased to 43 percent in 2010 from 39 percent in 2009, CNNMoney.com reported.
