Baskervill, a Richmond-based architectural and engineering firm, has been awarded a contract with Benchmark Community Bank to design its branch in Clarksville.

Leadmine Pond Productions, a Chesterfield County-based Web-design firm, has been given the 2011 Best of Midlothian Award in the computer integrated systems design category by the U.S. Commerce Association. The commerce association's best of local business award program recognizes companies that have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category.
McGuireWoods has been named one of the 2011 Best Law Firms for Women by the National Association for Female Executives and Flex-Time Lawyers. Big Creative Studio, a Richmond-based marketing and corporate communications firm, has won four Awards Certificates of Excellence in the 2011 American Graphic Design Awards from Graphic Design USA. INVESTMENT
BB&T Capital Markets, a division of Scott & Stringfellow, reports that Jacobs Private Equity and minority co-investors will invest up to $150 million in XPO Logistics Inc. BB&T advised the board of directors of XPO Logistics, a Michigan-based logistics services provider. The advisory team was led by Frank Mountcastle, managing director and co-head of BB&T Capital Markets' logistics and transportation services investment banking team.
