Still flipping Yu-Gi-Oh cards? Watching reruns of "Dragon Ball Z"?
If that's not enough to satisfy your inner geek, slip into your Sailor Moon suit and get over to the Greater Richmond Convention Center.
It's time for the Anime Mid-Atlantic convention.
You can groove to the sounds of the J-pop bands Swinging Popsicle and unicorn table. Anime and video-game musician Piano Squall will perform.
Meet Yasuhiro Koshi, CEO of Big Fighter Project, and Yunmao Ayakawa, a professional cosplay idol. She'll appear as Toki Takahasu of "Cove Pirate Mercenary."
Actors and voice actors, filmmakers, artists and writers also will appear.
Now, about that Sailor Moon costume. A highlight of the convention is cosplay, a subculture of fans who dress as favorite anime, manga or video-game characters. This year's event will feature two competitive events.
The Saturday-night masquerade will include cosplayers performing and showcasing their talents. For those not quite so brazen, there will be a Hall Costume Contest Friday and Saturday.
A dealers' room will feature merchandise for sale.
Video-game tournaments, an anime music-video contest, workshops, karaoke and a final dance will round out the event.
