After a soft opening in November, Arcadia in Shockoe Bottom celebrates its grand opening at 6:30 p.m. Friday by asking guests to bring pet food or a monetary donation to benefit Richmond SPCA. The Vegetarian Society of Richmond will host "Gluten Free Eating for Vegetarians and Vegans" by Jane Wilson, registered nurse and registered dietitian, on Jan. 21 at Friends Meeting House (4500 Kensington Ave.).
