The Brain Injury Association of Virginia, Richmond Support Group, meets Jan. 16, Children's Hospital, 2924 Brook Road. Networking starts at 6:15 p.m. in the auditorium, and meeting starts at 6:30. WORKSHOP

"Essential Pieces," for parents with children on the autism spectrum, 6 to 7 p.m. Jan. 16, Trinity Lutheran Church, 2315 N. Parham Road, for an open house. The workshops will be held Monday evenings from 6 to 7 p.m. beginning Jan. 23-Feb. 27. Bring your children on the autism spectrum and siblings to a social group that will run concurrently.
