Virginia Union guard/forward Vicki Collier and her mother, VUU coach Barvenia Wooten Cherry, are believed by NCAA researchers to be one of only two active mother-daughter/coach-player combinations in NCAA women's basketball. The other: Sophomore guard Makenzie Robertson plays for her mother, Kim Mulkey, at Baylor.
