Richmond police are conducting a death investigation for a body that was found in a sleeping bag Saturday evening. ¶
Police said the body was found by a person walking under the overpass at the 2000 block of Westwood Avenue around 6:20 p.m. ¶
Decomposition had set in, and the body is at the medical examiner’s office awaiting identification and a cause of death.
