Indoor football team moving into Ashe Center

»  Comments | Post a Comment

The Richmond-based Indoor Football League announced today that it will field a team in 2010 at the Arthur Ashe Center.

The Ashe Center is only a temporary home until the team moves into the new SportsQuest facility in Chesterfield in 2011.

IFL commissioner Tommy Benizio joined Phil Evans of SportsQuest, which will own the team, for the announcement.

Next year will also be the first in Richmond for the American Indoor Football Association, which will field a team at the Coliseum. The leagues are not affiliated.
