The Fairfax County Chamber of Commerce will sponsor a gubernatorial debate Sept. 17 at the Capital One Complex in Tysons Corner.
David Gregory, host of "Meet the Press" will be the moderator.
The chamber has sponsored debates between the candidates for governor and the U.S. Senate since 1989.
The debate between Democrat R. Creigh Deeds and Republican Bob McDonnell will get under way at 10:30 a.m.
The two candidates will hold their first debate Saturday before the Virginia Bar Association at The Homestead resort in Hot Springs.
At least four debates are planned.
