Police say a 68-year-old Henrico County man has been charged with exposing himself to a woman he lured to his house by placing an advertisement on Craigslist for a home nurse.
David M. Fuller of the 2100 block of Kelly Ridge Road was arrested after a 57-year-old Henrico woman went to his house May 24 in response to his ad. Police said Fuller left his front door slightly open and called for her to come inside, where she found Fuller naked and touching himself, police said.
"He made some sexual innuendo-type comments to her about engaging in sexual activity," said Henrico police Lt. Doug Perry.
Perry said police learned that Fuller had been flagged by Craigslist for similar suspected behavior. The free online classified-ad service received several fraud-related complaints about Fuller's listings for various services, Perry said.
Perry said investigators determined that Fuller, over several years, has posted ads on various Web sites, including Roomates.com, seeking women for certain jobs, such as "maid service" and "administrative assistant."
Perry said he also has advertised himself as a photographer and the owner of a model agency.
"Generally, the advertisements are a ruse to get the women to his house," Perry added.
His routine, Perry said, is to get undressed when a woman arrives and to leave his door open with a note to come inside, where the women then see him.
Police said they are still investigating the case and believe there may be other victims. Anyone with information can call Henrico police Investigator J.M. Mitchell at (804) 501-5000.
