Richmond's mental-health agency names new CEO

The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority board named Jack O. Lanier as the agency's new chief executive officer.


Lanier teaches at Virginia Commonwealth University's medical school and recently completed eight years of service on the state Board of Health.


He succeeds Wilson J. Washington Jr., who ended his service with the city's mental health agency in June.
