A McDonald's restaurant in South Richmond was robbed at gunpoint last night for the second time in less than four months.
No shots were fired and no one was injured in the robbery, which occurred at 9:50 p.m. in the McDonald's at 6801 Forest Hill Ave.
Richmond police Capt. David L. Martin said the robbers were described as two black males wearing dark clothes and hooded sweatshirts pulled up to partially conceal their faces. One of the robbers had a shotgun.
The two took money from the cash registers and ran from the restaurant, and they were last seen heading west through the parking lot of a nearby Food Lion.
The McDonald's was also robbed June 17 by two males. The suspects in that robbery both carried handguns.
That robbery also occurred when the business was open, at 4:14 in the afternoon.
