Skunk tests positive for rabies in eastern Henrico

A skunk killed by two dogs in the Varina area of Henrico County Friday tested positive for rabies yesterday, Henrico Police said.

The Health Department and the owner of the dogs have been notified. The dogs will be quarantined at the owner's home in the 5400 block of White Oak Circle, where the skunk had gotten into the dogs' pen, police said. There were no other known exposures.
