Roof collapses at Va. high school

BLACKSBURG (AP) -- Police say a gymnasium roof has collapsed at Blacksburg High School.


Lt. Joe Davis says no was inside the gym. The collapse was reported at 1:37 p.m. today.


Davis says structural engineers are at the school trying to determine what caused the collapse.


The National Weather Service said nearly 17 inches of snow has fallen in Blacksburg so far this month.
