RICHMOND, Va. -- The city of Richmond just announced it has closed the Boulevard Bridge until further notice.

RICHMOND, Va. —The city of Richmond has closed the Boulevard Bridge so it can clear the span of snow and ice this morning. “We need to close it so we can clear it and we’ll open it back up,“ said Tammy Hawley, spokeswoman for Mayor Dwight C. Jones. She said the bridge was closed about 10:30 a.m. and will reopen between 11:30 a.m. and noon.
