»  Comments | Post a Comment

A restaurant manager trying to make a deposit at a Richmond bank ended up with glass cuts when she was robbed while in her car late last night.

Richmond police Lt. Herman Loney III said the woman was confronted at 11:45 p.m. at the Bank of America in the 2600 block of West Broad Street.

When the woman pulled up to drop off her restaurant’s night deposit, a man rushed up to her car and used an unknown object to smash out the driver’s window and demand the cash bag, Loney said.

The woman had glass cuts on her left arm but refused medical attention, Loney said.

No detailed description of the suspect was available.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers anonymously at (804) 780-1000.
