No injuries in armed robbery of Richmond convenience store

There were no injuries Wednesday night in the armed robbery of a South Richmond convenience store.

Richmond police Capt. Harvey Powers said a man walked in the Lucky's store at Semmes and Cowardin avenues at 10:45 p.m., displayed a handgun and took an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing on foot.

The suspect was described as a black man in dark clothing, including a black hoodie.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at (804) 780-1000.
