Victim uninjured in Richmond armed robbery

A man escaped injury this morning in an armed robbery in Richmond's East End.

Police said the robbery was reported at 1:20 a.m. in the 2000 block of Creighton Road, where a man told officers he was confronted by two males, both of whom were wearing hooded sweatshirts and one of whom was brandishing a handgun.

The robbers took money from the victim and left without firing any shots or harming him, police said.

Detailed descriptions of the suspects were not provided.
