A Virginia teenager missing since December has been found in Knoxville.

Knoxville police say 14-year-old Jennifer K. Sanford of Chantilly was in good health when found Friday evening. She was last seen Dec. 2, when she left her home to go to school.

Knoxville police wouldn't confirm if Sanford was in the company of 20-year-old Nicky Liu of Berryville when she was found. Police believe Liu was with the teen when she was last seen.

The Knoxville News Sentinel reported that a man by that name was listed as being arrested within the last 24 hours on the Knox County Sheriff Office's website. Liu was not listed as an inmate at the jail Sunday.

Police said Sanford was in good health when she was found and that the investigation in the case is continuing.
