Armstrong High dismissed early, Fairfield Middle students moved because of water main break

»  Comments | Post a Comment

A water main break today forced Richmond Public Schools to dismiss Armstrong High School students at 12:30 p.m. and move Fairfield Field Court Elementary students to the Arthur Ashe Center.

The schools lost water earlier today because of the break.

Fairfield Court students will be taken back to their school at the end of the normal school day and follow their normal dismissal procedures, including being picked up by family members.

Officials expect the water main break to be fixed later today and that both schools will return to their normal schedules tomorrow.
