Richmond police are investigating three separate, non-life-threatening shootings that occurred in the city Sunday morning. Police said the shootings appear to be unrelated.
In South Richmond, two men were shot outside an after-hours club, the J-Spot, in the 3400 block of Hull Street about 5:40 a.m.
A 28-year-old was shot once in the buttocks, and a 32-year-old was shot once in the knee. According to police, a third man had his arm bruised by a bullet that did not penetrate his clothing.
Both victims were treated at VCU Medical Center.
In Church Hill, a 29-year-old man suffered a graze wound to the forehead at the Mosby Market in the 1200 block of Mosby Street about 6:20 a.m. The victim was treated at VCU Medical Center.
Earlier Sunday, a 22-year-old man was shot twice in the upper leg. Police are trying to determine where the shooting took place.
The man arrived at Richmond Community Hospital about 2 a.m. and reported that he was shot two hours earlier in the 3800 block of M Street in the East End. Richmond police said detectives canvassed the area and were unable to find a crime scene.
