There were no injuries this morning in a fire that damaged a house in Richmond's East End.
Richmond Fire & EMS Lt. Robbie Hagaman said the fire was reported just before 3 a.m. by a Richmond police officer who noticed smoke coming from a two-story house in the 500 block of North 31st Street.
The first units on scene were able to bring the fire under control within about 10 minutes, Hagaman said.
The fire, at what appeared to be a vacant house, is under investigation, Hagaman said.
