U.S. Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis is making a visit to Richmond.
Officials say Solis is scheduled to visit the Alstom Power manufacturing facility today to highlight growth in the manufacturing of clean, green energy technologies.
The 180,000-square-foot facility repairs power generation equipment to make it more energy efficient. It employs more than 450 people.
