A tractor-trailer accident slowed Interstate 95 southbound traffic for an extended period this morning in northern Henrico County at mile marker 84.
The crash was reported about 7:45 a.m. and closed the southbound left shoulder and left lane, quickly creating a backup for southbound commuters on the interstate.
The wreckage was cleared shortly after the morning rush hour ended.
