Richmond police were searching for the man who shot and robbed a man about 8 p.m. Friday in Richmond’s Church Hill neighborhood.
Police Capt. Yvonne Crowder said the victim was a 25-year-old man who was stopped in the 600 block of North 33rd Street by a man wearing a mask and displaying a weapon.
Crowder said the robber took money from the man and shot the victim in the shoulder. She said the victim was taken to VCU Medical Center with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
