U.Va. catcher John Hicks (Goochland) and James Madison catcher Jake Lowery (Cosby) were selected in the fourth round of Tuesday's Major League Baseball draft.
Hicks was taken with the 123rd selection by Seattle, which also took his Cavaliers teammate, Danny Hultzen, with the No. 2 pick. Lowery was taken five picks later by Cleveland.
The Indians also took U.Va. pitcher Will Roberts (Maggie Walker GS) in the fifth round.
Seattle grabbed another Cavalier, third baseman Steven Proscia, in the seventh round.
Yet another U.Va. player, Tyler Wilson (Midlothian), was picked in the 10th round by Baltimore.
South Carolina outfielder Jackie Bradley Jr. (Prince George) was selected by Boston with the 40th pick in the compensation first round Monday.
