One person was killed and five were injured today when a car ran off the right side of eastbound Interstate 64 in Goochland County and hit several trees, the Virginia State Police reported.
The southbound right lane of Interstate 95 is closed at mile marker 87 in Hanover County, near the Atlee-Elmont exit, following a tractor-trailer accident.

A Hanover County school bus that was not carrying any students collided with a pickup truck on Ashland Road this morning, injuring the drivers of both vehicles, the county sheriff's department said.
Louisa County police and fire crews have reopened westbound Interstate 64 after a vehicle fire. The westbound lanes of the highway were closed when a camper, towed by a pickup, caught fire near mile marker 147, police said.
