Everybody likes easy. But buying and selling a car is rarely so. There is paperwork, there is time spent online researching, and there is getting the maximum value for a trade-in if you have one.
Bill Colgate’s office inside Brown’s Jaguar has autographed sports jerseys lining the walls. Karl Malone. Kobe Bryant. Peyton Manning. There’s a lot of variety. There’s even a Julius Erving jersey from his ABA days with the Virginia Squires.
Speed, endurance and handling. Those are the things people look for in a car. Incidentally, they are also attributes of a quality runner. So it makes sense for the Central Virginia affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure to look to a car dealership to be its title sponsor for a major event.
New things are challenging, but they can also be exciting.
John Kinton is always looking for ways to improve. As service manager at Heritage Chevrolet, he works in all aspects of the department. In the morning, he might park cars. By midday, he could be helping a service advisor troubleshoot a problem. And as night approaches, he may end up talking with a customer to make sure his or her experience at the dealership was perfect. Bottom line: Kinton and his service staff work to make Heritage Chevrolet the place for Richmond drivers when they need to turn their car problems into solutions. And he does it with a constant eye toward being the best.
