Building permit highlight: Robins School of Businesss addition

Robins School of Businesss addition: The University of Richmond's Queally Hall, named for 1986 UR graduates Paul B. Queally and Anne-Marie Flinn Queally, is a roughly 40,000-square-foot, three-level addition to the Robins School of Business. The project is at the north end of the Robins School and across from UR's primary entrance.

The building will include business research and teaching centers, a finance trading room, the Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, a café, a 225-seat auditorium as well as classrooms and offices.

The facility will be built to LEED standards.

Completion is scheduled for January 2011.

The contractor is Taylor & Parrish Inc. The architect is Worley Associates Architects; the civil engineer is Draper Aden Associates; the structural engineer is Dunbar, Milby, Williams, Pittman & Vaughan; the landscape architect is Higgins & Gerstenmaier; the mechanical and electrical engineer is Dunlap & Partners, and the interior designer is Universal Design Associates.

The cost is $10.1 million, according to the building permit.
