Ray Price recuperating after surgery

Aspokesman for Grammy-winning country musician Ray Price says the singer is home in Texas recuperating after surgery to remove polyps from his colon.

Price's agent, Bobby Roberts, says Price, 83, was admitted to a hospital in his home state on June 22 for routine medical tests when a colonoscopy revealed a large number of polyps in the pre-cancerous stage. Roberts says the surgery was successfully completed the next day.
