» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

Pamplin Historical Park historians will commemorate the Petersburg Breakthrough with a pre-dawn tour on April 4, beginning at 5:30 a.m. The tour provides visitors with the same perspective experienced by Civil War soldiers on both sides who fought at the Petersburg Breakthrough. Unlike the soldiers in 1865, participants will enjoy a hot breakfast following the tour at the park's Hardtack & Coffee Cafe.

The tour and breakfast are free to park members and $10 per person for others. The fee also includes admission to the park. Reservations are required and can be made by calling Pamplin Historical Park at (804) 861-2408 or e-mail .
