Biden arrives at RIC

Vice President Joseph R. Biden Jr.'s plane has just landed at Richmond International Airport.

Biden is headed to J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College, where he will discuss the federal stimulus package.

From there, Biden heads to a private fundraiser in Henrico County for state Sen. R. Creigh Deeds, the Democratic nominee for governor.

Biden flew in from a previous appearance in Alexandria.
I thought Al Gore was the only irresponsible Democrat when it came to globetrotting in huge jets and leaving a gigantic carbon footprint.
A compassionate example setter would have drove a Prius down I-95 for that 1 1/2 trip.
