House fire near Monacan High
Chesterfield County firefighters were dispatched to a house fire this morning just southeast of Monacan High School.
There were no reports of injuries in the fire, which was called in at 5:58 a.m. for a two-story house in the 1000 block of Mansfield Crossing Road.
The house is in the Mansfield Crossing subdivision, which is situated between Courthouse Road and Monacan High.

To 4BonAir, I live right across Lucks Lane from Mansfield Crossing Road and I can tell you that neighborhood IS South East of Monacan High School. There is another Mansifield Crossing LANE, which is in another neighborhood, off of Explorer Drive. That might be the one you are referring to.
This is what I love about the TD reporters, the accuracy in their reporting. The last map I looked at puts Mansfield Crossing southwest,not southeast, of Monacan HS with Monacan between Mansfield Crossing and Courthouse Rd. Maybe the reporter should take map reading 101.
