A Louisa County judge yesterday certified to a grand jury three charges against Ulisa Mary Chavers in the discovery of her boyfriend's body at the bottom of a well last month.

Judge Susan L. Whitlock of Louisa Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court certified charges of concealing a body, credit-card fraud and identity theft to the grand jury that is set to meet Monday.

A hearing for a firearm charge against Chavers is set for May 5 in Louisa General District Court.

On March 6, authorities found the body of Chavers' boyfriend, Reginal Cody Bowles, in a well on his property in the Mineral area, where Chavers also lived.

Then, on April 10, authorities exhumed what they believe are the remains of Chavers' second husband, Clent Chavers, in a backyard of an Amelia County house where they used to live. Officials believe Clent Chavers died and was buried in 1994. No charges have been filed.

Authorities still are awaiting a cause of death in both cases from the state medical examiner's office.
