12 wounded, three critically, in shooting at Miami party

MIAMI — Police say 12 people were wounded when a gunman stormed a Miami house party and opened fire.

Police told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel that three of the wounded were hospitalized in critical condition from the shooting early Monday morning. Another person fleeing the home was struck by a vehicle.

Witnesses told the newspaper that a man wearing a black trench coat stormed the gathering and opened fire with an automatic weapon. The incident happened around 12:45 a.m in Miami’s Overtown neighborhood.

No one has been apprehended in the attack. Police have not released any additional details and were not immediately available for comment.
