Half-ton burial vaults stolen from Suffolk cemetery

SUFFOLK -- Officials are looking for two half-ton concrete burial vaults that were stolen from a Suffolk cemetery over Labor Day weekend.

A city spokeswoman says the vaults, which are valued at about $300 each, were last seen Friday stored behind a warehouse at Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens.

No one noticed they were gone until Tuesday.
