Highland Springs High School will unveil a re-done Bailey Field tomorrow at noon at the school. The Springers' baseball field has been the site for classroom trailers for two years while the school has undergone extensive renovations. A community day and dedication ceremony planned in March was postponed by rain.J.R. Tucker is holding a baseball alumni event at the Tigers' field April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. All former players and their families are invited. Batting practice for all ages will be available, so bring your glove and bat. Lunch will be provided. For more information, contact baseball coach John Fletcher at 527-4600 or .
The Virginia Independent Schools Football Association National Athletic Testing System Combine will be conducted for high school players May 23 at Collegiate. The cost is $50, and pre-registration is required by May 20. More than 600 colleges and universities use the NATS online player database on a daily basis. In addition to the football tests, an academic seminar will be held between the morning and afternoon sessions. Register online at http://www.nats.us.
