Football: Atlee 27, Deep Run 14

Trevor Elie ran for two touchdowns and returned a kickoff 88 yards for the go-ahead score to lead Atlee to a nondistrict victory over Deep Run.

The Raiders are 2-0 for the first time since 1998.

Elie rushed 16 times for 106 yards. He had 122 yards in kickoff returns. Quarterback Dylan Garthright had 67 yards rushing and a TD and 65 yards passing.

The Raiders' defense recorded eight sacks. Josh Doggett was in on 20 tackles.

Despite the pressure, Nick Vignone was 15 for 31 for 156 and an interception for Deep Run. Dallas Simmons (16-83) scored the Wildcats' touchdowns.
