Quarterfinals: Top bracket, Midlothian (17-3) at Deep Run (17-2), 7 p.m.; Thomas Dale (17-3) at Atlee (12-5), 7; Lower bracket, Mills Godwin (12-7) at Cosby (19-3), 5; Lee-Davis (16-4) at Prince George (17-4), 7
Semifinals: Thursday at Hanover High, 5 and 7 p.m.
Final: Friday at Hanover High,
7 p.m.
Must see: Lee-Davis-Prince George; Midlothian-Deep Run. L-D beat PG 2-0 on March 18. This is their fourth playoff meeting since 2002. L-D has won the previous three. Deep Run beat Midlothian for the region title last year.
Players to watch: Cosby SS Heather Sink; Cosby 3B Morgan Reynolds; TD P Lacey Waldrop; Atlee P Jackie Jenkins; DR P Heather Lewis; PG P Lauren Vinson; MG 2B Leona Rainey; Midlothian P Krista Townsend.
Team to beat: Deep Run.
The Wildcats have pitching
and can hit.
Team to watch: Cosby. Titans have won 12 straight.
