Redskins rookie apologizes for calling fans ‘dim wits’ on Twitter

ASHBURN — Washington Redskins rookie linebacker Robert Henson has apologized for calling the team’s fans “dim wits” on his Twitter feed.
He says Monday he updated his Twitter and Facebook accounts to apologize, “not because I’m scared, but just because it was the right thing to do.“
Henson, a sixth-round draft pick from TCU, has been inactive for both games this season.
Home fans booed the Redskins often Sunday during a 9-7 victory over the St. Louis Rams. Afterward, Henson tweeted: “All you fake half hearted Skins fan can .. I won’t go there but I dislike you very strongly, don’t come to Fed Ex to boo dim wits!!“
Henson also tweeted: “The question is who are you to say you know what’s best for the team and you work 9 to 5 at Mcdonalds.“

Robert Henson should be scalped for his inexpicable and decrepit comments.
people to pay hundreds to watch a game. to follow a team that can’t make it into the playoffs…
he is right… redskins fans are dimwits…
without fans there would be no Skins
This is coming from a guy that sounds like he can barely write English, and hasn’t played in one regular season game for a team that couldn’t even score one touchdown against one of the worst teams in the NFL. And who’s the dim wit? Better watch out, Henson - you might be working 9 to 5 at McDonald’s pretty soon.
If that’s what the guy wrote verbatim, I’d have to say that he’s the dim wit. Stupid jock.
Mr. Henson, what gives them the right to boo is the overpriced ticket (which I guarantee most Mc Donald workers could not afford) which pays for your overpriced salary to play a game.
