BLUES 3, WILD 1: David Perron had a goal and an assist for his first points of the season, helping St. Louis beat visiting Minnesota. The checking line produced the first two goals for St. Louis, which won for the first time at home this season. AVALANCHE 5, HURRICANES 4: Darcy Tucker was taken off the ice on a backboard, and Milan Hejduk and Wojtek Wolski scored goals in quick succession as host Colorado beat Carolina.
