Va. Chamber honors 50 fastest-growing private firms
Two Richmond-area companies are on the Virginia Chamber of Commerce's Fantastic 50 list of the 50 fastest-growing privately held companies in the state.
The awards ceremony was last night in Chantilly.
Logistics Solutions Group Inc., an information-technology and logistics-support company in Hopewell, placed No. 24 on the list.
Dominion Equipment Parts LLC, an Ashland distributor of rubber tracks for construction equipment, placed No. 46.
Five companies were recognized with Virginia Vanguard Awards for having the highest growth rates over a four-year period in certain categories:
- Highest growth overall: Prolog Inc. of Virginia Beach, a professional services company that specializes in logistics.
- Technology: Ideal Innovations Inc. of Arlington County, a biometrics technologies and services company.
- Manufacturing: MTC Transformers of Wytheville, a provider of precision-engineered transformers and rewind services.
- Service: BOSH Global Services of Newport News, a veteran-owned company specializing in unmanned systems-related operations and technology services.
- Retail/wholesale: Auto Recyclers LLC of Buena Vista, a state-licensed recycling company.
