FDA’s new tobacco-regulation powers
Regulatory powers
A federal law signed in June gives the U.S. Food and Drug Administration new powers to regulate tobacco. They include:requiring all tobacco products, including cigars, be stored behind sales counters;
banning the terms "lights" or "mild" for newly introduced cigarettes and in advertising, beginning next year;
eventually requiring larger, stronger graphic warning labels for cigarettes;
requiring stronger warnings for smokeless tobacco;
requiring tobacco companies to report all ingredients used; and
banning artificial flavors other than menthol.

Somehow I don’t see tobacco companies as the “casualties” in this debate.
Obama/Democrat casualties already. Small tobacco shops are closing across the land after largest tobacco tax increase in our history was signed by Obama and enacted in April.
A Tampa cigar manufacturer already closed it’s doors, adding another 500 to the unemployment line.
Not crying for the cigar manufacturer? No need to. They moved their operation off shore. They only left behind the unemployed American workers.
