The retail portion of West Broad Village has struggled. Some retailers and restaurants have pulled out; others want to set up shop but not just yet. Still, HomeGoods, REI and other retailers plan to open stores there in the coming months.

5. Old Navy (lease pending)
6. McCormick & Schmick's (plans uncertain)
7. Wine Loft (to open in late October)
8. Justice (not coming)
9. Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant (not coming)
10. Keagan's Pub (under construction)
11. Aloft hotel (opened)
12. Kona Grill (opened)
13. Ledo's Pizza (opened)
14. Books-A-Million (not coming)
15. It's Hip to be Round (to open in late September)
16. John Rich day spa (planned)
17. Whole Foods (open)
18. South University (open)
19. Wachovia Bank (open)
20. Recreational Equipment Inc. (to open in November)
21. HomeGoods (to open in October)
