Dinwiddie manufacturer lays off 66

Owners of a Dinwiddie County manufacturing plant that made propane cylinders used in heating equipment have closed down the facility and laid off 66 employees.

Tennessee-based Manchester Tank shut down the plant Thursday and said it was the result of reduced demand and the bad economy.

The company plans to move production to another plant in Illinois, a company news release said.

All employees will be given 60 days' pay, severance and job placement assistance.

Man the insane asylum must have turned on their internet access for the day. There are a lot of nuts chiming in here about things that really don’t have anything to do with the article.

SCRIBE, the root cause of the current economic problem is not “trickle down economics,“ but the Community Development Revinestment Act, and Fanny Mae/FreddieMac. When the housing bubble caused by making loans to unqualified mortgagees finally burst, it sent a ripple through the whole economy. Speculation in the oil markets, which the democrat congress still hasn’t fixed, contributed to the problem, setting up what has been called the perfect economic storm.
The stimulus bills have nothing to do with stimulating the economy. They are clearly payoffs to democrat constituencies and attempts by the left to take control of key industries, their protestations to the contrary notwithstanding.

Oh, and SCRIBE… if you won’t be voting for anyone who hopes this country fails in 2010, then you won’t be voting Democrat. After all, that’s what James Carville said after Bush was re-elected. It’s also what Good Time Charlie Rangel told a Rainbow Coalition rally in Harlem in 2005—something the liberal media has refused to report.

SCRIBE… yes, listen to the economists, the GREAT majority of whom have said since it was proposed that the porkulus bill will only help blow out the deficit and create hyperinflation.

The economic problems started not with Bush/Cheney, but with Frank/Dodd, who refused to have their financial committees in Congress do anything to rein in the banks and mortgage lenders when Republicans begged them to get involved. They could have prevented this economic mess in 2007 but decided the political money of Countrywide, Citibank and the rest was more important. Obama and his ignorant concept that government can create more jobs than the private sector has accelerated the problems. Democrats and their ignorant ideas of government running everything will prevent any real economic recovery for years.

Listen to the economists, SCRIBE—that’s what they are saying.

I guess there’s not enough demand in Iraq for cylinders used for heating. Bush-economics are not working out well for me. I have a property to sell in Dinwiddie.

Like the President said during the campaign, some people take pride in being ignorant! This current economic mess was brought to us by the Neocon Republicans;specifically BUSH/CHENEY, and the failed policy of “TRICKLE DOWN ECONOMICS”.It’s one thing to be conservative, it’s totally irrational to live in a make believe world and try to point fingers at others that had nothing to do with our current economic mess. These economic problems didn’t start on 1/20/09. For God’s sake people stop listening to Rush Limbaugh, he is an entertainer. If you want to educate yourselves about the economy, listen to “ECONOMISTS”. Then again, you probably wouldn’t know what they are talking about anyway! “I hope he fails” is TALIBAN thinking. One thing is for sure, in 2010, I will not be voting for anybody that hopes this country fails.

Another 66 people taken down by Obama’s decision that government can create more jobs than the private sector.

We’re stuck with Obama until 2012, but we have to do the job in 2010 and get Democrats out of power or we’ll ALL lose our jobs.

How’s that stimulus plan working out for you?
