ON THE MOVE ARCHITECTS

Susan Lacy has been promoted to principal at Architects Dayton, Thompson & Associates. She has more than 25 years of experience in architecture, focusing on recreational and hospitality, retail and master planning. A graduate of the University of Virginia, she has been with the firm since 1993.

Marcus Hanlon has been promoted to associate at Architects Dayton, Thompson & Associates. He earned his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation from the Green Building Certification Institute. He has been with the firm since 2004 and received his degree from The Boston Architectural Center.

James Droski has joined Architects Dayton, Thompson & Associates as an intern architect. He earned his master's of architecture with a concentration in sustainable design from Lawrence Technological University. He was formerly with Jeffery Scott Architects.

Bryan Clark Green has been named director of historic preservation at Commonwealth Architects. Since joining the firm in 2005, he has served as an architectural historian. He earned an undergraduate degree in history and anthropology from the University of Notre Dame and his master's and doctoral degrees in architectural history from the University of Virginia. BANKING, INVESTMENTS

Brad Hunt has joined MICG Investment Management as the managing director/private client group and the Norfolk branch manager. His primary responsibilities include coaching, training, recruiting and handling client acquisition strategies. He has a graduate degree in international business and more than 18 years of financial-services industry experience. He previously was with UBS, where he served as market area manager for Virginia.

Ray Adams has joined MICG Investment Management as branch manager and financial adviser in the Richmond office. He will focus on providing wealth-management services to clients in the greater Richmond region. He formerly was with Wachovia Securities and Robert W. Baird. He has 18 years of experience in business development, client/relationship management, product management, risk mitigation, and industry and competitive intelligence.

CERTIFICATION

Cindy Ellis has earned her Certified Wellness Program Manager designation from the National Wellness Institute WebMD Worksite Wellness Certification Program. She is a health-promotion and wellness consultant for the mid-Atlantic region of CIGNA HealthCare.

CONSULTING

R. Chris Garner has been promoted to project manager at Wiley/Wilson in the Richmond office. He will focus on federal government design-build projects. He earned his bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Old Dominion University and a bachelor's degree in business and economics from Randolph-Macon College. R. Corey Clayborne has been promoted to project manager at Wiley/Wilson in the Richmond office. He will focus on planning and architectural design services for local, state and federal government clients. He received a bachelor of architecture degree from Virginia Tech.

Patricia Morris has joined Dewitt & Associates as senior counsel. She brings 30 years of experience in board development, fundraising, management and marketing. Her most recent full-time post was vice president of philanthropy for Feed More Inc. She earned a master of public administration degree with specialization in nonprofit studies from Virginia Commonwealth University.

He graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in economics and English. Jamie Kinsler has joined MassMutual Financial Group/Capital Financial Partners as a financial-services professional. He graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a degree in applied mathematics and earned a master of commerce degree from the University of Virginia. Mary Paige Price has joined Medicus Staffing as a health-care recruiter in the Richmond office. She has more than 11 years of health-care recruitment experience. She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a Professional in Human Resources certification. She previously worked with HCA Physician Services and Medical Office Services.

INSURANCE

John Stanchina has been appointed division president in the Richmond office of Rutherfoord. Stanchina joined Rutherfoord in 1994 and was appointed division manager of the Richmond office in 2004. He holds a bachelor's degree in accounting and art from Muskingum College.

David Peschio has joined Homelink Services as an area manager in the company's second Richmond office. He previously owned the Lawn Cuttery, a lawn and landscaping business, and HL&M Solutions, a property rehab/management company.
