ON THE MOVE ACCOUNTING

Vie Lowden is a new CPA at Goodman & Company. He joined the company full time in 2007 and worked as an intern the previous summer. He earned his bachelor's degree in history from the University of Virginia and received his certificate in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.

ASSET MANAGEMENT

Julie Strocchia is regional asset manager at StreamCo. She has more than 25 years of experience in asset management, most recently as senior asset manager of Colliers Spectrum Cable Management. She is also a certified public accountant. She earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from Southern Illinois University. Matthew Raggi is an assistant asset manager at StreamCo. He worked as an investment banking analyst at Keefe, Bruyette & Woods Inc., assisting banks and financial institutions on mergers, acquisitions and capital raises. He earned degrees in business administration and political science with a concentration in finance from the University of Richmond. CERTIFICATION

Kevin Edmiston has earned the Certified Retail Tobacconist designation from Tobacconist University, the official curriculum resource of the International Premium Cigar & Pipe Retailers Association. He is with Winston's Humidor.

Barbara Basl has earned the Certified Business Professional designation from the International Business Training Association. She is an adjunct instructor at Bryant & Stratton College.

Donna Slaughter has earned the Certified Business Professional designation from the International Business Training Association. She is a business-studies program director at Bryant & Stratton College.

Astrid Jones has earned the Certified Business Professional designation from the International Business Training Association. She is a student at Bryant & Stratton College.

Rachael Steinhoff is an office administrator at PUNCH, with plans to develop her role into an account executive. She earned her bachelor's degree in marketing management from Virginia Tech.

Mark Durham has been promoted to associate at Hankins and Anderson Inc. He has been with the firm's project-management department for two years and holds a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from Duke University and a master's in civil engineering from the University of Virginia. Katonda L. Potts has been promoted to associate at Hankins and Anderson Inc. She has been with the firm's project-management department for two years and holds a bachelor's degree in architectural engineering and a master's in construction management from North Carolina A&T State University. Cory M. Piland has been promoted to associate at Hankins and Anderson Inc. She has been with the firm's project-management department for eight years and holds a bachelor's degree in architecture from Virginia Tech. David L. Hosfeld has been promoted to associate at Hankins and Anderson Inc. Stephanie Martin has been promoted to applications developer at BandyWorks. She joined the company in June 2008 and has worked in applications development since 2001.

Candice Carter has been promoted to division controller/wholesale accounting at Southern States Cooperative. Chris Headley has been promoted to assistant controller at Southern States Cooperative. He joined the company in 1997 and has held accounting positions in several divisions. He will be responsible for wholesale accounting, petroleum accounting, corporate accounting, budgets, and financial systems and reporting. He earned his bachelor's degree in finance from Virginia Tech, his MBA from the College of William and Mary and a certificate in accounting from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Dale Cannady has been named acting executive director of Leadership Metro Richmond. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College and retired as regional president of SunTrust.

Edward Loy Senter Jr. is chief of the Chesterfield Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services. He previously served as fire chief of Norfolk.

Katherine C. Duke has been promoted to automation coordinator of the Chesterfield Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services. She has been with the department for three years.

Donna A. Loehr has been promoted to senior accounting technician of the Chesterfield Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services. She has been with the department for two years.

Philip A. Harding has been promoted to volunteer fire lieutenant of the Chesterfield Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services. He has been a member of the Midlothian Volunteer Fire Department for eight years.

William H. Hux III has been promoted to volunteer fire lieutenant of the Chesterfield Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services. He has been a member of the Midlothian Volunteer Fire Department for 11 years.
