ON THE MOVE ACCOUNTING

Brian Pritham has passed the Architectural Registration exam and is now a registered architect in Virginia. He is an associate at Bartzen + Ball Architects and has worked as an architect in the Richmond area for the past 12 years. He earned his bachelor's degree in architecture from Virginia Tech.

BANKING, INVESTMENTS

Stephen J. Griffith is assistant vice president of talent management at the Federal Reserve Bank. He will be responsible for recruiting, learning and development, and diversity and inclusion in the human-resources department. He earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin at La Crosse and his master's degree in I/O psychology and organization development from the University of West Florida. Wendi L. Homza is assistant vice president/HR customer solutions at the Federal Reserve Bank. She will be responsible for the business partners, work-force planning and HR communications divisions in the HR department. She earned her bachelor's degree in mass communications from Virginia Commonwealth University. Hattie Barley is assistant vice president in the HR department at the Federal Reserve Bank, with responsibility for total compensation, staff relations and shared/self-services. She has had a range of HR responsibilities since joining the bank in 1978. Joseph W. Dziedzic has been appointed vice president and chief financial officer of The Brink's Company. He previously was CFO of GE Aviation Services.

CERTIFICATION

Taylor Cowardin has earned his Certified Gemologist Appraiser designation from the American Gem Society. He is a fifth-generation jeweler at Cowardin's Jewelers. James West has earned his Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design accreditation from the Green Building Certification Institute. He is a survey crew chief with McCrone Inc.

Laurie Acree has earned her Certified Franchise Executive designation from the Institute for Certified Franchise Executives. She is vice president of Rainbow Station's Village operations and of PRISM Inc., Rainbow Station's franchising company.

Jeff Swanson was honored for 20 years of participation in the Certified Insurance Counselors program by the Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He is with Total Insurance Planning.

Les Smoot has earned his North American Technician Excellence certification. He is a senior HVAC technician at Air Excellence Inc.

Chris Hathaway has earned his North American Technician Excellence certification. He is field service manager at Air Excellence Inc.

John Paul Woodley has been named a consulting director of Advantus Strategies. He recently left the Department of Defense, where he supervised the Army Corps of Engineers as assistant secretary of the Army for civil works. He also has served as assistant deputy undersecretary of defense (Environment), Virginia secretary of natural resources and Virginia deputy attorney general for government operations.

DESIGN

Jessica Milligan is an account manager at PUNCH. She is a certified project-management professional and has experience working in account management for advertising agencies and managing marketing promotions and partnerships for a corporate retailer. She earned her bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from the University of Richmond.

Kevin Walsh is an assistant professor of law and will teach constitutional law and federal courts at the University of Richmond School of Law. He previously was a visiting professor at Villanova University Law School. He earned his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth, his master's in theological studies from the University of Notre Dame and his law degree from Harvard University. Meredith Johnson Harbach is an assistant professor of law and will teach family law and children and the law at the University of Richmond School of Law. She previously was director of New York University Law's School Lawyering Program. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and her law degree from Columbia University. John Carroll is an assistant clinical professor of law and director of the Intellectual Property Law and Transactional Law Clinic at the University of Richmond School of Law. He has practiced intellectual-property law at Spotts Fain and Williams Mullen. He earned his bachelor's degree in engineering from Virginia Tech, his master of laws degree from New York University and his law degree from UR.

Michelle E. Wamsley has been named assistant vice president of foundation, corporate and government relations at the University of Richmond. She will oversee an office responsible for securing awards from foundations, corporations and government agencies. She previously was director of foundation and corporate relations for the University of Virginia Health System. She earned her bachelor's degree in English from the University of New Hampshire and is pursuing her master's of public administration from Virginia Tech.

Erin Trimyer is a construction services manager at Froehling and Robertson Inc. She has been in the engineering field for more than 13 years.

D. Bruce Hoffman has been named head of the global competition practice at Hunton & Williams. He is a former deputy director of the Federal Trade Commission's Bureau of Competition.
